Looking Through The Pages

Looking through the pages of the Word You sent to man,
I see my wicked heart and my need to understand,
that from the beginning You had a plan.
This journey has taken me across many a land,
Though dangers, sorrow, joy and more.
Still I see my wicked heart my need to understand,
That from the beginning You had a plan.
I traveled from cover to cover seeking treasure as I went.
Yet still I saw my wicked heart, my need to understand
that from the beginning You had a plan.
Then I saw Your amazing grace and began to understand
for my wicked heart You hung upon that tree
and from that very moment You fulfilled my deepest need.
From the very start, You had a plan for me.
